Hideout From The Feeders

by Mr. Kanard

November 12 came the new album of Illls. " From the Hideout Feeders " birth, or rebirth in version 2.0, homemade, over worked, opus more agitated and tormented as the previous tracks, always with the sound and spirit unique to this native music of Oxford, music that we would listen again and again.

Of the ten tracks, we had been able to listen to "Out", "Coma" and "Wales", posted on their SoundCloud a few times ago, which were the "apetizers" of this long litany that Steven Ross offers us.

 We start with  Our Shadow
which as the title suggests, expresses very well the darkness of both weary and present everywhere, shuffling drums and reverb, it's a good start, and it's not over.

Collen is more speed, from the outset, edgier with strident riff that sound distorted, wrapped in sounds that plunges us into a rotating and unstable sphere, which also stops suddenly as it started.

In this album we find a greater energy, generated by the guitar and the voice very present, a bittersweet mixture, melancholy and liveliness, such as small humans who live and walk to the Death.

To refine this a bit, a little  Interlude  of 1minute13, slow but powerful of both, which invites herself in our ears as a longtime friend, to start on a more aggressive note with " In Gray ".

This is the kind of illness that we would like to have as fervently that when you're a kid and you don't want to go to school. ILLLS get to don't fall into the repetition, while taking on its brand by makes his music that runs through our body like a rollercoaster, which make nod the head even when we are alone, sitting at the desk, trying to writing ...

Virus that is useless to look for a cure, let you earn by the fever of these devilishly good sounds that you can listen on their BandCamp without limitations, and buy it if you can

"It's I who nods alone in my office while I write, it's important to have some motivation in life." Mr. Kanard
